Anyone have a Flowmaster Muffler?

On the edge of buying a flowmaster muffler. Might get one installed tomorrow.

I just want to get some last minute opinions from ppl that have one on how it sounds. Also dont forget what series you have (probably 40 or 60 series) and Si or non-Si.

If you have clips that would be awesome.

If i do get it tomorrow i'll slap some clips on.

Get a straight through design muffler (they flow MUCH better than a baffled muffler like the Flowmaster). Check out Borla's line of XR1 racing mufflers if you want something nice, free flowing (and yes, loud).

Wont i still have that "rice" sound w/ a straight through muffler? Maybe its just the clips but i HATE that 1999 civic dx exhaust sound lol. I dunno i havn't heard a Si w/ exhaust in person.

Even going through all the exhaust sound clips on that sticky they all kinda sound like crap. I want to get as far away as i can from that sound like a group of bees crusin down the street.

But you mean this one tho?

The muffler is not what gives the car the "ricey" sound. It is a combination of the small displacement and the equal (or near equal) length header. There is really very little difference (I know this will step on some toes) in the way exhaust A and exhaust B sounds. Most of the time in the small displanement world, the volume level is the real difference.
