How difficult is it to install a race header and who makes a decent quality unit? Do they work with the stock cat?

Did you run into any problems with the installation? How long did it take you? And do you feel that clamp is going to hold those two pipes together securely?

Cool. I will probably do the install myself at the comfort of my cold garage floor It will probably take me a lot longer than an exhaust shop but I like to do things on my own not only to save money but also to see how hard it is to do or how simple and if I mess up I have only myself to blame.

I wonder if the exhaust shop welded where they separated the exhaust pipe? I would have ordered the exhaust if it weren't for the pipe that they cut in half to save money in shipping etc.

To anyone that doesn't keep at least the stock SI rear section-you're dumb! I just sold mine on ebay with the tip for $110. There's your $75 install fee.

If you mean the Axleback section, then you are right. Keep the stock axleback. The R18 drivers buy them left and right and you can get between 110-150 bucks out of them easily.

I just did a quick search on ebay and didn't see any listed. I'd like to recoupe that money, too, once i install my Vibrant.

How are the civic Axleback parts being listed for the R18 drivers? I couldn't get any hits. Maybe there aren't any out there right now...
