Alright...after going on a couple of spirited drives through the city and utilizing the highway, I will say the butt dyno applauds the new exhaust. There is definitely some more power in the midrange as far as everyday driving goes, and I enjoy that!

Buy it now!

I think I rather weld that piece just to be sure.
My exhaust just arrived minus the clamp

Vibrant will overnight one to me...

According to Vibrant, these exact clamps are used on the current production turbo Jetta (supplied by Vibrant) and they haven't had any issues so far with the clamps. Weld if you like, but it's probably not needed...

That's bad to hear. I'll tell you though, it's worth the wait (I didn't wait I welded). It's an awesome exhaust; you won't have any regrets!

Hey Steve, in that one pictures the Muffler/Canister looks a little crooked.
Is that they way it is suppose to be or is that the way the mufflershop installed it? I am still debating getting the Vibrant or the Tanabe or the APEXi WS system. The only thing that shys me away form the Vibrant is the damn clamp that is always missing.

Well, one obvious issue with the clamp is that it is always missing

Great write-up, and it sounds and looks really good. Like I have said in the past seems like a great choice for overall price/sound/quality. Thanks again you may have just pushed me over the edge of which exhaust to buy.

At least the picture on Vibrant's website is right now.

Hope mine comes tomorrow and not ground...

Ah, excellent, updated our site too. I noticed its not a vband clamp - more of a plain clamp... but it looks like it should work well though.

WOW, multitalented. Typing while installing his exhaust.

Please let us know how the install went and how you like the exhaust.

I am still on the fence between the Vibrant and the APEXI WS 2 exhaust system. I want a reasonably quiet exhaust but not one that puts me to sleep
