Sounds like poor quality control on Vibrants part since you are not the first to receive the Exhaust without the required clamp. I am with you, I don't trust clamps and prefer it to be welded also. I don't know why they didn't keep that piece together as a one piece unit?
Steve, does one of the ends slide into the other or are the the same size in diameter? Thanks for the GREAT looking pics and your first impressions. Looks like you got a Cat Front and back exhaust ![]() Nice Pussy's btw I have 3 of them myself plus I feed about 5 strays that come to my house to eat not to mention the Racoons. |

HOLY FU***NG S*** BATMAN, IT'S A "TRIPLE-DOULBE!"
Tom, the ends do not slide together. It was the first thing I tried. If they don't slide together, are they still supposed to be clamped together? I know that for the Magnaflow, one slips into the other. Not so for this unit. |

If they don't slide together than how can they be clamped together? That doesn't make any sense. I think Vibrant goofed and forgot to put a flange on that part or another connector of some kind. Or maybe they are magic and like in Terminator 3 will just turn into liquid and then solidify as a whole
![]() Keep us posted on your trials and tribulations. If you can get some pics at the mufflershop with your installed system on the car from underneath that would be cool! Just wish they would have thought it out a little better. Of course like most exhaust cat back system this one probably didn't come with any instructions. Good Luck tomorrow with the installation. Let us know how much they charged you to install it. |

It's a misinterpretation on Vibrants side. Since they make a whole bunch of other system I think they may not even know that they overlooked putting in the flanges on that "broken" piece. It would be Vibrants responsibility to examine the contents of the box prior to shipping to make sure that all the pieces required are in there. I will hold off ordering mine until this issue has been addressed and resolved by Vibrant. |

I wonder how many others have been shipped without a clamp and I bet there are some people trying to make it work with Duct tape
Hey, what's a V-Clamp Look like? I still can't picture how two equal pieces without sliding in can be connected without the risk of severe exhaust leaks? |
