Well to answer a question a while back about Hidrolock I called up Ingen about their Hidrolock shield and they say that they tested it by throwing a 5gl. Bucket at it and it had no effect. And for the other question about cutting out a hole in your wheel well, don’t I herd that from all the water that your tire tries to disperse is too much for the Filter to handle. Hope this post helps.

I've gone on procivic.com and they have the AEM Dryflow Filter at 3, 2.5, 2 inches. How do I know which one to get? I've also found a bypass valve on kingmotorsport.com and they do the same thing (different sizes). Oh yeah it rains alot in Miami therefore I need that bypass valve.

$300 on a X intake is a waste of money, considering you can make one for $125. Not saying you have one, just adding to the comment

AEM REPLACED MY CAI with the NEW MODEL!!!! TO FIX THE CEL !!!!!!!!!!!!
I know this is a bit late, but ironically I started reading these threads AFTER I installed my Fujita F5 SRI last night (11.29.07) on my '07 Si Sedan. No CEL, no hesitation, great sound, increased power (yes, my ever-skeptic mind has been won over), etc. I can see why it's rated so highly. Great thing it's cold outside in Southwestern PA these days - it helps with that whole heat soak thing, but it's better than the hydro-lock worry with CAIs, imho. It rains too much in Pittsburgh. LOL

Well, I never said it was the best, I'm simply saying that I see a huge gain with a $200.00 investment. What's the X intake anyway? Never heard of it, but if it's $300+, I would've never gone with it anyway unless the gain was $100 better in value, which I doubt it is.

yes people seem to forget this, this is what separates it from other intakes, X made this intake to tune our cars for the best possible AFR and with that the HP and torque will increase dramatically
