Magnaflow high-flow cat

Has anyone ever had one of these?

They are pretty cheap.

Use the search button there are several threads on the magnaflow catback. Superstreet recently put out in article installing the catback it gained 6.5 hp and 7lbs of torque at the wheels. Hope this info helped.:) I have one and i am happy with it not to loud just right.

To my knowledge, the Magnaflow high-flow cat. converter's are universal fit. You would need a shop to attach it to your car for you.

i just received my magnaflow high flow spun metallic cat in the mail yesterday. it was $104 at hottexhaust including shipping and tax. someone will be installing it for me (needs flanges and what not) soon. funny thing is it is probably no longer than the test pipe on the SSR header, so it might be a direct fit i am hoping, and i won't have to have the exhaust chopped at all.

That's a lot cheaper than the RT high flow cat. 1/4 as expensive if I'm not mistaken! Let us know how much fabrication is involve in getting that sucker installed!

i was quoted $100 to install it with flanges, and cut part of the exhaust. if i don't have to cut the exhaust it may be cheaper, and certainly will be less complicated.

Yeah man, keep us posted for sure. I'm about this close | | to getting a SSR header and magnaflow hi-flow cat. I currently run a comptech header and R/T cat, but probably for another 7-10 hp I'm more than willing to upgrade to the SSR. BTW, did that header throw an engine check light?

If you decide to go with the SSR header and magnaflow cat let me know. I was thinking about that myself.

Any Race header will throw one of them because you are deleting the cat and you have no place to plug the last o2 sensor into. You would need to buy a defouler to get rid of the check engine light. I bought my SSR with the defouler.......i get nervous when i see lights on my dash, esp check engine lights :).
