The part number's were different on the tensior that's where I got my information.

Anyway, I understand that thier isn't "pefect" tuning available for the
stage 2's yet. However, The available Hondata reflash will aid in the positive direction for the cams. It will increase and stabilize an air/fuel ratio, rendering it more usable for the cams. Injectors with not be necessary. Eventually, I would defienitly recommend a fuel return system. I haven't heard about I-pro if there is any info on this I would love to know. I assume it has some relation to k-pro? Idealy, this would be the perfect solution to tuning!

What would you guys so the affect would be of installing the cams now and running them until k-pro or I-pro comes out? I believe nothing will be harmed you just won't see maximum gains until k-pro is incorporated!

I'm not an expert by any means. But I do know cams and how engines work. larger cams duration and lift net more air.more air needs more fuel. without the means of tuning the fuel I would say you will go lean at times.return fuel and adjustable fuel reg for higher fuel pressure is needed.Hondata clearly states not test for aftermarket cams. Now if you could get ahold of the Hondata maps for the TOV project Si with the IPS cams you might have something.

THat is a really good point! I've just called Hondata to get ahold of those hondata maps. They said that they are going to bring in up in the next meeting to see if they want to start selling that custom reflash. Which of course would solve all the tuning problems!

no, i installed mine with the head still on. we cranked it over to TDC, and then removed the spark plugs. we then screwed a compression tested in the valve and blow air into the valves pushing it up. one cylinder at a time got it done. but if i had to chose to do it again that head would have came off QUICK! that valves took that longest time out of the whole day
