Which exhaust and intake?

I just got this car and don't know a whole lot about it, but I've been reading up on here and learning as much as I can. My first mod is going to be an intake, then I'm gonna get a cat back whenever I can afford it.

First of all, which exhaust do you guys run/prefer? Which one provides the most hp gain? or best sound?

Also, what intake do you guys run/prefer? Which provides the most power/sound? What are the advantages of a CAI over a short ram intake?

Thanks ahead of time!

I've got an Injen CAI and Greddy Evo 2 and I'm satisfied. Sounds aggressive but not too loud.

Envision it as an SRI (short ram intake) with the filter fully enclosed inside a box that resembles the factory air box in a similar location as the OEM air box. Out of that box piping is ran to an area outside of the engine bay where the intake air being brought in is at a lower temperature. It works on the same principles as a true CAI (cold air intake) but has the advantage over a true CAI of being able to easily access and perform routine maintenance on the filter element. Also, it will be far less prone to ingesting water and causing hydrolock.

Im running a AJP 3" exhaust system. Kinda overkill but when I upgrade to a Turbo or S/C Ill never outflow those big Pipes!

The exhaust is already out. Hopefully the Icebox will be out before spring.

so is it worth it to do an exhaust before intake? Or should i just wait for the icebox to come out and get both at the same time?
