Where do I find my Radio Anti-Theft Code?

I was looking through my manuals and things to try and find the code I would have to punch in if I took out and replaced the stereo unit. I guess I just had a mental lapse, but I can't seem to find it in my bag full of owner's manual goodies. Is it located in the owner's manual, or might it have been printed on a little card?

thanks

The radio code is printed out on a card that is about the size of a business card. It may have slipped inside of one of the many booklets that came with your car. Some dealers leave it inside the glove compartment. Some dealers hide it within the owner's manual.

I got my card handed to me. You can also retrieve the code on Honda's owner link website. You just have to register.

Open your glove box. There should be a little sticker with it on there too.

Look on the service history book that you have. Its on the very first page on the second line. Also on a card in the packet you get from the dealer.

The code is only retrievable through the website if your dealer signed you up and entered the code into the website for you or you have previously done it yourself.

If you haven't registered for Owner's Link on Honda's website, I suggest that you do it. There you will be alerted of recalls and technical service bulletins as they arise for your particular vehicle. It's a good place to keep your radio code on file just in case you lose that little card later on.

Hi:

I am signed up with owner link. I found my card with the 4 digit number code for my navigation system, but I can't find any radio code card. So I just called my dealer and she said that they are one and the same.

However, on the owner link website there is a place for BOTH the navi code and the radio code. Who is right and who is wrong? Regards...

You only need one. The navi code is the radio code.

If you have a non navi unit if you can not fine the card or it is not in your glove box, If it is flashing code you can get the s/n by turning the power on the radio off holding down 1 and 6 and turning the power back on then go to your dealer and they can get it for you

Mine is printed on a sticker on the glove box. Open the box and you should see it on the outside edge of the glove box.
