Skunk2 Composite intakes and Fuel rails.

I came across Skunk2's new info on their Composite Intakes and Fuel Rails. They state they drop intake temps as much as 100F and 3% hp gain with the fuel rail.

So I'm assuming neither one of these will work on the 06 Sedan?

I've talk to the guys at Group-A autosports (aka Skunk2). They said they will have the intake for the K20Z3 Civic SI after the first of the year. You can put in a order now if you would like. They have not released the prices as of yet.

These parts will all so fit the Si sedan if anybody is curious.
Just call them and ask for Robert Flores if you have any questions.

How good would that intake be compared to a ported coated manifold from ajp?

Well The flow of the two intake's will be pretty close. BUT this intake is made out of composite.which runs WAY cooler intake temp then an aluminum intake. So I would say the Skunk2 would be the better intake and make more power.

there are no fuel rails for the Si per say... but i have one... and it fits no issue..

then it does say k24a1-4 .... that means tsx included... so it fits :)

Any idea how much this will run compared to the $565 for ajp's coated ported?

Well from what I 've heard about the R&D they have in the new composite work and the cost of the composite. I would say they will be in the $500-600 dollar MSRP range. It also depends on the application. They can make the intakes to fit your set up.So the price will vary. They will release all the info in the next couple months,so I'm told.

Nobody knows yet. There isnt enough data out to suggest which is preferred. All we know is that the AJP ported intake worked well on their turbo car and added a few hp on a non Hondata N/A flashed car.

No body has any results for the skunk2 yet.

There is no answer to your question. I do have have the AJP ported intake and all the bolt ons and I'm planning on getting my car dynod for shits sometime next week. I'll let you know how AJP intake worked with a intake/raceheader/hondata car.
