Question Megan racing headers are good performance??

i have a question about this headers that i bought like 2 days ago....people they me that they are pretty bad for the si because they don't do anything of performance is that true?..... does any one has it? send me a picture or send me a message

megan doesn't have headers out yet. it's currently still in production stage and not even in prototyping with me yet, so there's no way it could be megan. sorry boss.

this might be a stupid question but headers are an extension of the exhaust right? sorry just got into modding cars and dont know a ton yet

Headers come off your cylinder head, and in this case, attach to the downpipe.

The long tube, or "race header" that eliminates the dowpipe and cat are the best performance wise as of now.

There are no stupid questions!

The header(s) are essentially the beginning of the exhaust system. They bolt onto the engine and route exhaust gases away via piping towards the cat (i.e., catalytic converter) and then on to the muffler and out.

If you use the search feature on here, you'll find quite a few threads discussing headers, etc. These are worth reading if you're interested in modding your car. There are also several threads that discuss which mods are typically done first, but it does depend on what you want to do with your car. Good luck searching and learning...
