^ LOL.

I can't wait for the Comptech RH. Wonder if it replaces the cat like the DCRH.

I always thought the point of race headers was the fact that it gets rid of the cat to increase flow of exhaust gases. That's why they're "race" headers. Shorty headers are a pre-cat replacement.

yow.... comptech's shorty header will give very little gains....
at 500 dollars, maybe even more and very little less i see that as a waste of money..

500 dollars for a header that may give u 5 hp if that...

if the damn shorty header costs 500 dollars like it's rumored to be...
all those waiting on the race header better be prepared to pay a pretty penny....

What about a shorty header and ...

http://www.dezod.com/pd_random_techn...ertercivic.cfm

It should be very similar to a Race Header setup with the difference that still street legal. But both setups RH or Shorty + Hi Flow Cat cost almost the same. Comptech RH are pretty close to $1K. At least with the shorty combo you can replace the cat with a pipe and you will have something pretty similar to a RH for less than $1K.

I really dont know what to do if trying that combination and still having a contamination free engine or just go naked with a RH ($1K is a lot of money for just a header).

Note: I got the money to put this baby to rock with a AJP Turbo setup if I want to but there are some things that I need to take care first.
