*Help* Custom Exhaust Work

Ok I need a little help here I have reached my limit. I am an audio guy and don't know much about engines, racing, etc... But doing audio I do like sound so...

I have a guy that will do a custom catback for $320 using magnaflow parts. What should I do.

1. Size Piping
2. Which Muffler
3. Which Resonator
4. Anything else I am missing.

ya a better brand.. have you heard the magnaflow exhaust already? I really think it has a garbage sound... but if you like it then go for it.. I prefer a gredy, or borla myself.. They sell entire catback systems for that amount you should do some more research before jumping into it

I'm not too sure what you mean by audio. Do you mean the sound of the exhaust or audio music meaning you want a quiet exhaust so you can hear your sound system better?

Sorry, mellow tone and pitch. I listened to the clip at Magnaflow for the catback system for the SI and that does fine. I don't like it sounding like a dirt bike.

I'm not a racer hence an EX R18 just a little better flow to free up some low end torgue.

Go with the Greddy EVO2. Nice deep rumble.

Thought that was just for an SI? I've looked for catbacks and have really only seen magnaflow so it is what I know.

Oh, by the way this is my first Honda. I have always had POS Ford Escorts or my other vehicle 04 F150. I have sort of a V8 brain.

Built that system too.

Sorry dude.. Meesa scatterbrain!

I'm not sure of the other catbacks/axle-backs available for the R18. You can always get a universal muffler made by pretty much every company. You can have a muffler shop cut the stock muffler off and weld the new one on. It should be really cheap to do that. It will be a lot more for full custom piping and a resonator and you won't be able to tell in advance how it will sound or perform.
