hey guys, as some of you may know i got into an accident with my baby this week, and while my body guy is trying to get he insurance company to pay for the magnaflow cat back that was destroyed he doesn't know he can. regardless i would like to find a really cheap place to get a replacement. I orginally played $512 for mine (yea i just had to have it immediatly) does anyone know where i can get another magnaflow system for cheap? i've seen them for around $450 through our sponsors. Thanks for all your help

www.hottexhaust.com has Magnaflow Cat-Back exhaust system for $433.61 before coupon code. The coupon code "jetta" still works, and it will drop down to $373.64.
I bought my Magnaflow exhaust from them for my EX Coupe and was really happy with the price. The only complaint I have is that their inventory wasn't matched up with what the computer had, so they didn't actually have my exhaust in stock when I ordered it. They sent me an e-mail, apologized, and gave me 10% off my order. Really good response time, as well, so give them a try. |

hey guys. Me and a buddy installed it and it's not TOO much of a hassle. I will say one thing about the fitment: the welding on my exhaust is a little off center, therefore, my hangers are a bit off, making the exhaust a bit crooked. I'm figuring out a way to fix this, but mine seems to be the only that this has happened to, since a few people on here have the exhaust on there R18 and have it fit quite nicely. Just letting everyone know.

yea its not the same diameter as stock, that or my eyes were tripping on acid when i opened the box. and fyi those video's don't look like the r18 specific magnaflow cat back system, perhaps a magnaflow axleback w/ some custom piping. But my r18 cat back system does def not look like that, the tip is much more open, and it doesn't buzz like that video (but might be sounds quality of camera). If memory recalls the r18 oem piping is around an inch or so, and magnaflow is, i believe, 2in. or more.
check the magnaflow site, for the sound clip of the Si magna cat system, sounds identical if you can ignore the redic. vtec whine of the Si.
