Hi,
I have 08 siand I just made the installation of my vibrant w/hfc header with strup defouler yesterday. Everything goes right but today the check engine came out. I went to autozone and after put the car code reader, the problem was the O2 sensor. How can I have problem with this sensor if I am using a defouler? and what can I do?? thanks |

Anyone running a HFC shouldn't need the defouler. You have to consider how a defouler works, chances are the HFC+defouler are putting you back out of an acceptable range for the ECU.
Plus if the defouler wasn't done right to begin with (some require drilling) then that could again be the issue for those running a RH with a defouler. |

the angled strup defouler doesnt need drilling comes all set to screw in the factory 02 bung however I beleive you to be right rileyrat its not getting a right reading so i will try taking it off and just running it without the defouler to see how that plays out thanks
