Thumbs down Fujita SRI with stock ECU tune

I just bought a fujita sri and run it since 2 days, and wondering how it can be dangerous to run it with the stock ecu... ?
im not feeling "safe" now since i heard that!

if i put 94oct gaz in it for now it will help ???

So some intakes have a lot of inconsistency even between runs with MAF tuning. This inconsistency goes away with MAP tuning. We have a good calibration for the Fujita intake using the MAP as the basis for tuning.

I suggest you speak to your tuner and ask their opinion.

91 octane will do,short ram, cold air intakes are safe with stock ecu. Full bolt ons like header and exhaust with intake will run just right.

If it was running dangerously lean, Hondata would have said so. You dont need to be worried.

It's still not a good intake to use without MAP based calibration.

I just installed mine last night. I haven't noticed anything but an increased sound and air flow at higher end RPM.

Would a leaner running motor be noticeable? I know for a fact that if it was running dangerously lean i would probably know. But is this something that would make me go, "whoa wait a minute here, something is wrong"

Its the only mod i have so far.

^^ only a A/F ratio meter will be able to tell you if your running lean or rich.

The part of run lean has kept me away from the fujita.
