Fujitsubo Legalis R for R18

Hi all, it's me again and I would like to share what I've done in the last few weeks. Feeling itchy, as always, I took the plunge and installed the Fujitsubo Legalis R Performance exhaust on my JDM R18.

The package

The stock catback

The Fujitsubo installed and how it now looks

You can hear the sound of the exhaust note from here.
http://www.fujitsubo.co.jp/mc-prod/

Cost me around USD780 for the full catback + install.

That's awesome. Your threads are so JDM, it's unbelievable.

I wonder if the fitment is the same for the NA R18? I'm guessing no.

The undercarriage and the entire catback bay should be the same. It should fit.

Singapore has strict emission and noise regulations so "approved" ones cost more. Any ticket for a non-approved catback exhaust will set you back by USD300.

This one comes with full registration with the land transport authority and comes with a certificate from Japan. What to do? I pay for peace of mind.

Unpacking pictures, before and after pictures, properly resized, in focus, with USD conversion. wonderful!

Good looking dual tip also!

Pengful, can you get me the part number for that Fujitsubo catback? I'm going to see if one of the U.S. distributors can source one and figure out if it will fit a USDM EX Coupe.

That is the best looking exhaust I've seen yet.

There are a couple of numbers on the certificate, which is in Japanese and I can't understand. You can try these numbers;

- part no (I think): 150-52071
- model no (I think): DBA-FD1

I wonder if there's a difference between the North American and JDM emissions system. I remember for older Hondas, you had to cut a chunk out of your exhaust to accomodate the cat. I wonder if this still holds true?

With the full catback, I am afraid it won't be necessary anymore.

The mids are great but the only thing holding me back is the intake and I intend to slap on an Injen in the next few weeks. Then, I'll probably start feeling the gains.

Mugen kits where I live? Lots of them, we got original and replica sets.
