I think I am going Injen CAI... I read somewhere that you need to buy from an authorized dealer for any warranties issues to be cleared up..is that true?

Holy crap! Inyong, but it from AllJap and F.I.A.T. I spent $272 on mine. I bought it locally.

I love my Injen. Cookstar and ThatCamryGuy passed TypeX and I at the Dragon. I was shocked by the sound his car made passing us. All I could say was "Damn my car sounds MEAN when you get on it." We both have the same intake and exhaust set up on our cars.

I just actually put the Injen CAI on my r18 last night. It looks and sounds fantastic. The only complaints I have about it are 1) The fit was very tight. Not necessarily the space it took up (it actually left a lot more room in the front end without that huge stock intake), but it seems the curves in the piping were a bit off. then 2) I had to go buy 2 clamps because the rubber tube that came with it, well, one of them was too big for the stock clamps that were with the stock intake. But, I love the way it sounds. Oh, and I didn't have to cut into the fender either.

On a side note, they sure try to make your car rice. They sent me a license plate frame and 2 decals. I hung the license plate frame up in my garage. Not gonna put the decals on. Has anyone ever put any decal underneath the hood on the little ledge? Otherwise, I think they'll just sit around somewhere.
