Weapon r intake question

I am looking into buying an intake, i am curious if anybody on here has any information on the weapon r intake, is it a good intake, and does it perform well? Any information would be helpful. I also want to use the p2r throttle body spacer (is it worth what it says it does?)

thanks for the assistance.

Best thing you can do in my opinion since you are looking into a SRI is a X-Intake which will keep A/F ratios consistant across the board and power will be there as well. Also you dont have to worry about the whole.. P2R spacer rubbing against the radiator hose in the mean time!

I have no idea about the Weapon R intake, but I did purchase a Weapon R radiator overflow tank. It looked really nice in the pictures, but when I received it, it was pretty crappy quality. Personally, I would not purchase anything else from them.

I was and am actually considering the weapon r secret weapon WITH the ram air adapter for my 06 civic. I don't know a WHOLE LOT about engines but I'm looking into getting a short ram intake so that I can free up some engine bay area so that I can put a bigger battery under the hood. Anybody know how everything fits? Does it free up space? is the bracket to hold the MAF sensor right where it needs to be? Anybody got any pics of it installed? I have an LX. Thanks for your help.

I have the weapon r SW with adapter. it is a great intake for the most part is sounded really good and seemed to help top end. the only problem i had was at idle when the MAF would cause the rpm's to bounce. Here is the web link

Here are some quick pics. I have not found way to fix idle bounce. The hose attaches to the end of the filter with a clamp. Its a solid intake for the Si at least I like it.

That's the Si version. On the R18 version it doesn't cause the RPMs to "bounce". It's actually pretty consistent. The only thing I don't like about it is, it pretty much sits on the edge of the battery. It didn't concern me much in the beginning, but it is making me wonder if that is going to cause the filter to crack in the future. I thought the guy who installed it for me might have not pushed the filter all the way back, but when I checked it out, it was. I don't have any use for the ram air kit until I get a new filter pipe.
