just got a FUJITA SRI

and man that think makes a difference. It screams when u press it gas hard, but when you are just cruising it is quiet enough that it sounds stock. I will post some pix when when i get a chance.

Do you notice much throttle response/power difference with the SRI in place?

Excellent choice my friend, I have the Fujita SRI for my Si also, and it makes a hell of a difference. The throttle response is 3 times better than stock and it really screams when you hit vtec. I love it. I can definitely feel a power difference with the fujita. In my opinion the Fujita SRI is the best intake out for the Si.

Any problems with heat soak? Is heat soak over-rated? I have heard some people say that with an SRI that some cars barely idle etc... Any problems with that kind of problem on a hot day at a long stoplight?

Thanks for the info

does anyone have an opinion of the finish of the intake piping and whether that impacts the air temperature?

Hi guys, I just installed my FUJITA SRI last night. The packaging that it came with was awesome, I got a hat, duffle bag and a can of NOS with it so that was pretty sweet. Physically the construction of the intake is pretty solid, however the install took me and my friend about 4 hours, cuz taking of the stock intake was a biaatch. We also had to run out 2 times to get more tools and zip ties cuz one of the stock clamps woulnd't fit over the 8mm hose.

Throttle response has def increased, the sound is pretty much the same up till 3k, but after that it's alot throattier and it kinda makes a whoosh sucking sound. Also when you dip the accelerator real quick it makes a cool popping sound which is pretty sweet. The best part is when vtec kicks in, the thing gets LOUD. I've had an AEM SRI in my 03 accord before and it sounded nice, but not as nice as the Fujita. I think the AEM sounded kinda ricey but tha's just my .02

PROBLEM: fujita uses a rubber hose to replace the OEM coolant line, now the coolant gets really really hot, so i'm afraid that hose will melt, does any1 else have this concern or anything to contribute to this particular issue?

Wow, 4 hours to install a SRI? That's just crazy. I figured SRIs would take like 30 minutes top if you were to just remove the stock airbox.

Well, here are the advantages I can think of:

SRI: Easier to install, no worries about hydrolock, sounds meaner, less expensive than a CAI

CAI: Better gains

I installed my Fujita in under 1 hour. No, the hose won't melt.

Pull the hose off your throttle body and floor it. There's your sound clip.:)
