Not sure if this is the right thread, but here goes.

I haven't seen any ignition stuff. What kind of ign. do we have? Are there any upgrades?

we have coil packs, not sure if there are any ignition mods out yet, but i think it is pretty efficient as it is though.

Question

What would be your reason, primarily, for swapping out the stock ignition "stuff"?

Distributorless ignitions are not new technology, been around since the early to mid 80's.

If you are looking to improve or mod your ignition system you can pick up any of the following; AEM Pencil Coils, the AEM Twin Fire, MSD DIS 4, MSD DIS 4 HO

Some people will say that adding either of the units I mentioned here are pointless but I disagree. Adding one of these is like adding a capacitor to a stereo system or any electrical system. These will smooth out power bands, improve fuel economy and throttle response.

the stock ignition is good for about 350hp allmotor and about 700hp with boost. You will see no gains from upgrading the ignition and your money would be better sent some were else. Talk to anyone that has built and tuned big power Ks and they will tell you the same thing
