Injen CAI vs. SRI Questions

Hello all! I'm new to the world of modding and I have a few questions regarding the Injen CAI vs. Injen SRI. Please try to keep it on topic! Thanks!

1. What are the hydrolock risks of the CAI vs. the SRI.
2. MPG fuel economy gain of the CAI vs. SRI.
3. WHP and Torque gain of each (actually Dyno-ed)
4. Sound comparison. The SI will be my daily driver, so I don't want excessive noise over stock when I'm not trying to speed along. Does it sound stock under 4k rpm?

Thanks for your responses!

I'll try to help.. I just installed the Injen CAI yesterday.

1. I really think this hydrolock issue is overblown. For one thing, Scion offers an AEM CAI as an option (I have one on my Xa) that sits at about the same height as the Injen on my Si. Unless you drive through more than about 6" of water on a routine basis, I just wouldn't worry about it - be cautious, not paranoid.
2. Either one will probably not affect this. If anything, you might worsen your MPG by planting your foot into it more often.
3. Can't speak for the SRI, but the CAI is getting about 10WHP & you can definately feel it! No doubt, it's the best on the market!
4. Again, can't speak for the SRI. The CAI is nearly as quiet as stock under regular driving conditions. When you hit WOT though, WOW! This sucker roars! It sounds awesome and will drown out a stock exhaust. I like it. Glad I waited for this intake. I don't think anyone will top it.

Hope this helps -
