Intake Differences
So I've got the Si and I picked up a K&N Intake for my car. While doing the install, I noticed that the Si Airbox has a tube that runs for the air filter box down to the bottom of the car...which kind of led me to believe the Si had/has a sort of CAI. Now I've looked at other intake systems online by Fujita, Injen, and AEM but I've noticed that none of them utilize that pipe that goes down under the engine bay. Why is that? K&N has a weird C channel that goes into the hose to use the "cold" air. Anyone know why none of the other companies aren't using this tube? Just wondering if anyone else noticed this....
