Do you mean a cat-back or race header?

They make a twin loop catback exhaust for the coupe. I say this because they advertise the product as 06 si. Take a look at their website:

Hy Tech Exhaust----The Leader in Race Exhaust Technology

Click on pricing and scroll down you will see the 06+ SI for $850.00 Mugen also makes a twin loop that runs about the same price (unfortunately it doesn't fit out cars - yet.... :). The mugen is very very quiet and sounds good. I would assume this hytech exhaust would be quiet as well.

Thanks, I have been on their site plenty of times looking at just their products, and I see lots of quality but had never seen that section until now. I think I might just go all motor overtime, but what if I just get the twin loop exhaust now, will they interfer with anything since I wont have any other Hytech part? I want to see it fitted to but I doubt anyone has it.

they will probably make whatever you want. the header fits the coupe and sedan. the exhaust is meant for the coupe...but since everything they make is "made to order" if you have a special request, im sure they can do it.

Im wrong, I found a picture of it on a car. Thing is, it says the twin loop quiets the exhaust with hardly lowering the flow. Does that mean that a different exhaust can open the flow?

Here is that picture.

I think "lowering the flow" actually refers to the fact that it is a twin loop. Having the second loop I am sure lowers the flow a bit. With that said it will still have a greater flow then stock. The piping is 2 1/2 inch for both their header and the full cat system. On a type R they are quoting 20hp and 22 torque gains. I think I have actually found the exhaust system to replace stock now :) I know king motorsports has been playing with the mugen twin loop for our cars. They have stated that to much fabrication is needed at this point..... This is a great alternative.

Says 850 on their site for the exhaust, but the thing is you pay to play. Also, when your playing the qaulity of your toys reflects your money, if you got the money and want qaulity, Hytech is the place to go.

Yeah, I hear you on that. If I had it and it got jacked, I would be the maddest person alive!!! I think the reason they have the twin loop is because with their header a straight through exhaust would be quite loud, but I may be wrong.

In reading the write up on this product on their site, am I wrong, or did I read that they are also offering this with a cat? Couldn't tell from the pictures, it looks like there is a bulge where the cat would be but it seems to be on the cat back side of the flange. What do you all think? From what I read it sounds like with the exhaust and header that you could still have an application that includes a cat, which is exciting to me since I am currently weighing my options for such a modification.

Their exhaust and headers are made to order so yeah I think you can put a cat on it.

the twin loop design makes it quieter while not restricting flow
