Exclamation Getting this installed in my 07 ex

Im not to big on parts but the guy is charging me 200 dollars in labor to do it. These parts are not cheap ebay ones these are better ones should last me to 7-10 years i was told instead of 2 or 3.. The parts are

Dc headers 411$

Dc exhaust or magnaflow exhaust for about 570 -600

air intake system(think thats what you call it) or k&n 375-400

Im just trying to get a little hp thats all(about how much hp would I get?), nothing to speed just to make it on the highway quicker n take off a bit faster. Would this improvide my engine life also? Thanks Im not to big on cars...

Do It Yourself.

these parts you mentioned are not hard to install. they can annoy you and be a PITA, but you dont need to be a mechanic to install i/h/e. and if you do it yourself you will feel better because you did it all by yourself, there will be some kind of satisfaction there, and you will save money. 200 dollars can help on your next mod. and you can get them for cheaper, alot cheaper, check out corsportusa.com or procivic.com or any of the other 8th sponsors.

i know the cars arent the same. but i have i/rh/e/tb spacer on my car. yes, nothing has been simple on this car to install, maybe my wheels. but if u take ur time, use common sense, follow a DIY off this site, you can install alot of stuff and keep some money in your pocket. plus you feel great inside when u add that mod and go start ur car. its a good feeling

hell yeah they are, cant u get the dc sports catback for like 350?
and there is not a CAI or SRI on the market that is over 280 dollars. 375-400 is craaaazy.
and this is a base model, so its not the dcrh. so its the shorty, and that has to be alot cheaper than the 350 dollar or so dc race header. do some research bro, save urself some moooolaaah
