The blue ball you remove when installing a short shifter

This one:

Does anyone know the part number for it? I didn't lose mine, but instead of worrying about breaking it to remove it from the Corsport short shifter I'd rather just buy another one so that I can have it to put back on the stock assembly and save time. That or to have as a backup in case I do break it.

When I look on Majestic Honda's (or College Hill's) page all I can price out is the entire shift unit itself, as you can see below by looking at number 1:

It's $47 before shipping, and I think it's silly to pay that just to get the ball so has anyone done this and if so, what the part number was?

If it's been covered then my apologies. I wasn't exactly sure on what to search for and I couldn't find it in the DIY.

Removing that blue cap isn't nearly as hard as people make it out to be. I didn't have much trouble removing mine... it was tight though.

I've already done it and I can do it again however it's going to be a bit more of a pain in the ass to remove it from the Corsport adapter as there's less room to fit something in there (in relation to when it's on the stock shifter). Before I run the risk of breaking it, I'd like to have a backup just in case something goes wrong. That's all.

Check out TWMPerformance. They make replacements. It's not blue, but it works.

When I took off my comptech sts before going into a dealership, I took the sts off first and then carefully used a hammer and a flat head to slowly chisel the blue cap off.. No damage done if you do it carefully

Is Izzy my hero? It's possible.

Same goes for TWM I suppose. They make a killing off of that little bastard thing, though!

Better'n $47 for an assembly you don't need.

Better yet, get a few people to buy-in with you, save on shipping. Then get reimbursed when getting paid back from the others.
