power gains

I have a Fa5 and I'm trying to figure what exhaust has the best power gains. I am currently thinking about the Greddy Tic,and the skunk2 70mm. What are you guys opinions on these exhaust?

3hp or 5hp. Take your pick.

Exhaust doesn't gain much of anything on these cars. Just pick the one that sounds the best and be happy with what you have.

But the header is supposed to be one of the best mods for it and its considered exhaust.

Sound will vary by person.

Overall exhaust note I think the Buddy Club sounds hands down the best. It's a little on the loud side, but doesn't like nearly as bumble bee as the Skunk2.

For a deep, quiet note the GReddy EVO2 sounds great and won't punish your ears.

Those are the two I recommend depending on whether you want loud or quiet.

I would get the vibrant or the buddy club exhaust, however they are both pretty loud. I know that the vibrant doesn't really drone that bad however. don't know about the buddy club.

i have the evo 2 with a dcrh - to me, its too loud - i drive in stop and go traffic, red light to red light - taking off the evo II is noisy - even if i accelerate eaisly - it still makes noise - but on the other hand it is nearly silent going down the road at a constant speed.
im think im going to switch to HKS

Please post vids if you decide to do it. If you could, please use the same camera and compare the greddy and the hks. That would help people understand how quiet the hks is.

I don't care about it being loud, as long as it sounds good. Not loud and nasty sounding.

<-- My choice: Greddy SP2. Only one problem: Diameter. Only 60mm ID (2.36"). The Vibrant Race Header (+Cat-Back) is a true 2.5" ID. Bottleneck is a bottleneck.

Ack. Posted in a FAQ thread again.

all perference it terms of sound (performance isnt much with an exhaust)..how loud u want it? loudest is skunk2 70mm but imo the greddy ti-c is a lot louder than u think..when u get it, it is just as loud as a skunk2 60mm just not as high pitch, that is why the skunk2 has a higher db rating. I like the looks of the ti-c and it sounds really clean and good, and once u install a race header especially without a cat...wow...the car is CRAZY loud in addition with an intake for vtec :) hope this helps

Depends on what you like the sound and how it looks. I got the Tic cause of how it looks and how it sounds.
