To me, f1.8 is too much bokeh (if there is such a thing). It would look much better if you were shooting at f2.8-4 and adjust your shutter manually. You should get the entire car tack sharp, and the fore/background blurry.

I know it's easier said than done, but I don't think the Nifty Fifty will do the trick for rolling shots.

I think you did not lock the bulb properly. I'm not too sure about the low beam but I notice that the high-beam does not have any adjustment (maybe it has but I don't know). I put the new bulbs the way the OEM bulbs sit on the housing and it's perfectly fine. Try to check the position on the housing.

How much did you pay for the bulbs? HID is not that expensive. If you like the HID that meeks has, it's not that expensive. Ask meeks about the pricing and he can recommend you where to get.

Meeks got his hids through BPGTuning in Richmond, Dennis with the slammed silver SI works there so talk to him or give Jason a call at the shop.

I got my hids from BPGTuning as well and love them, I accidently blinded my boss this morning and Chris's gurlfriend on Sat night when I was leaving for the meet.
