ok, we need to get peeps on board, who wouldn't love cruising this awesome city of ours in our rides. It would be awesome to see and possiably get on video all of us in a mini convoy all through van. we could have a blast, the weather seems to be ok, 20 degrees and sun and for Sunday we have 22 degree's and sun...

Hey my lingo is bad what is FG/FA just curious? I have this feeling I should already know.

those are body style codes

FG1 = 2006 Honda Civic coupe 1.8L (DX, DX-G, LX, EX)
FG2 = 2006 Honda Civic coupe 2.0L (Si)
FA1 = 2006 Honda Civic sedan 1.8L (DX, DX-G, LX, EX)

check your VIN. it starts with: 2HGFA1
2 = made in North America ("J" = Japan)
HG = no idea!
FA = body style (in this case, sedan)
1 = engine model 1.8L

basically, "FA/FG" = 2006 Civics only! (technically, FA1 also includes the Acura CSX)

so i guess Saturday afternoon is a go then... hopefully more people can show up, and hopefully the weather will hold up too. we should do a Plaza of Nations to UBC/Spanish Banks cruise and wave to Rpm2 on the way!

So i will be there for sure, what part of oakridge parking lot, I guess i should just look for all the sweet Civic's and what time? I am ditching out of work to do this and will be going back to work on Sunday to finish up.

the low down:
meet at Oakridge Center parking lot in the area by the Public Library/Kin's Farm Market at 4:30pm. we will wait until 4:45pm before leaving.

the cruise:
we will cruise down to the Plaza of Nations via Cambie Street heading north, then exiting on Pacific Blvd heading East. we will stop in the parking lot directly across the Plaza of Nations for about 15-20 minutes to regroup.

after this, we will continue eastbound along Pacific Blvd heading around BC Place Stadium (along the old Indy track) and make a right on Smithe. then we will make a left onto Burrard Street and onto the bridge heading south. we will bear right and head west along Cornwall Ave (towards UBC/Spanish Banks). Cornwall Ave becomes Point Grey Road, then left onto Alma, right on West 4th, and right on NW Marine Drive. we can stop a few times here to take photos and such along the beaches.

then if people feel like it, we can head to UBC Rose Garden (by the flagpole - nice photo location).
