Big ups for The Honda Way in Abbotsford.

Well, today I made an appointment to get my 3rd gear checked by The Honda Way. I went in with low expectations, as I have read many a horror story on here about dealerships being difficult about the 3rd gear warranty issue.

My 3rd gear was by no means TERRIBLE, it was a bit notchy occationally, but I am sure many people have it worse.

I dropped the car off at 830am, and called at 12 to see if they had reached a conclusion on a way to solve the problem.

I am now getting a full rebuild of the tranny/3rd gear. Parts were ordered today, and the tech also offered to loan me a car for the 2 days mine will be in the shop.

I am very impressed, there was absolutely no hassel. I strongly reccommend them to anyone buying a new car, or anyone in need of repairs.

Hmm.. I've brought mine in there with several complaints about 3rd gear. Last time I brought it in they simply replaced the MTF. Maybe I'll swing by there today and see what I can get done.

My car is at Honda Way in Abby right now getting the 3rd gear overhauled. The technician was unable to replicate the problem but Curtis went ahead and ordered all the parts to replace it anyways. Can't wait to get it back tonight!

I get mine back tomorrow, I am very stoked.

Wayne is my go to guy, very good!

The best part is, I get my 3rd gear replaced the day before I recieve my Cobb AP!

Terrible twist to my story,

at 39,xxx km's my clutch burnt out.

I have only had the car since 33, 000km's so I am not to happy with the previous owner, as I havent done any tracking or extended racing. Very weird indeed. And not excited to see what the cost will be as I just spent $700 on AP about 30 minutes prior to their call.
