DOH!! I was so excited to read this thread until I read that it only covers FG2s. Damn you Honda! Where's the love for the R18??

this reflash made the FG2's lag the same as the R18, so you can only imagine how bad the lag was before the ECU update.

btw, can anyone confirm that the R18 reflash is available in Canada? apparently, it's available in US now.

Judging by how long it took for this reflash... probably another month or two for the R18 one?

how is it fcuked? there's still a small lag after you clutch-down and shift?

yep, i never really got the reflash because according to the techies at happy honda, my software is upto date and my car isn't upgradable...but i do have the lag, maybe not as bad as the one in that video somewhere in the forum, but i do have it. that's why i want a meet soon so i can take a ride in your car and habby's and see how it compares to mine.

do you know if your vin# falls under the listed vin#'s on the TSB? coz if not, you might not be able to get the reflash, like i did

My mileage has not increased since my reflash. I think you mileage increase is because of your CAI.
