Civic as Taxi

Hey guys, I hate to say this, but Civic is now being used as taxis here in Vancouver BC. I don't think I ever saw any Civic taxi until 2-3 months ago. As far as I know, taxi companies always choose Toyota: corolla, camry, prius.

How does this make you feel?

Pfffttt... Civics are fine being taxis. I'd be pissed if I had one of these though...

If they get better mileage and are better for the environment then who cares?

Marc, Babylon Cafe is just 2 minutes away from I work. They sell good Shawarmas.

Anyways, the thing is I don't see civic as special anymore, but it doesn't apply to Sis.

Why would the Civic be special in the first place? It's an econobox, not some sort of exotic or performance vehicle.

I saw that black M-class taxi in front of my apartment. It seems that the owner just do that for fun and he's very friendly because I saw his chatting and giggling with the customer. I would definitely use that taxi.

Even though it is very common, I find Civic design much better than Corolla. In its class, Civic has the most hp for the best price, good feel for the road when driving and good depreciation value. It is also more comfortable.

But your argument is valid nevertheless. I think I'm just annoyed that they use Civic as cabs now.

Hmm, Ivan, next time you find that benz cab, get the driver's number. I want to try it, hahaha.

Haha, by your statement, isn't that also more reason for cab drivers to want to buy one?

JDM Civics were modelled after CSX's.
