yes, the issue is that its possible too small, and also its hollow, not solid. which could potentially reduce the steering response. some people have gone that route however.

Yes it does. Ive made it as clear as possible. The poll itself, no, theres not. But the post below the poll, yes. Its in bold lettering. The vote is for a thinner sway bar. MM size is still unknown.

true true great point. i hope there is testing being done to see what combination of thickness and solid / hollow would be best. I never though of the DX or any other bar as being too small. I'll tell you again - great point.

damn straight i wouldn't know sh*t about our cars if it wasn't for this site. other forums i've been on don't have nearly the info that 8thgen does. import tuners website has by far the most inferior forum i've ever been on. its a bunch of a** holes and ricers who ask the same question over and over about how to make their sohc d series motors run 500hp

Here is some additional 411 on stabilizers,

Comparing the diameter of swaybars is actually fairly innacurate and unscientific, since many anti-swaybars use a wide variety of different materials and construction techniques, which will result in wildly different spring rates.

Anti-swaybars function like springs and have spring rates, which are independent of the diameter. (Many coil springs have thin diameters but very high rates due to quality of construction, and alternately, many springs have thick diameters but do not have high spring rates)

Although the diameter is a rough indicator of the stiffness, it shouldn't be relied on too heavily.

The best indicator would be if manufacturers actually list the % increase in stiffness of stabilizer spring rate compared to stock. Unfortunately, the trend is to simply put the diameter.

Stabilizers come in a variety of materials
