Here is some additional 411 on stabilizers,
Comparing the diameter of swaybars is actually fairly innacurate and unscientific, since many anti-swaybars use a wide variety of different materials and construction techniques, which will result in wildly different spring rates. Anti-swaybars function like springs and have spring rates, which are independent of the diameter. (Many coil springs have thin diameters but very high rates due to quality of construction, and alternately, many springs have thick diameters but do not have high spring rates) Although the diameter is a rough indicator of the stiffness, it shouldn't be relied on too heavily. The best indicator would be if manufacturers actually list the % increase in stiffness of stabilizer spring rate compared to stock. Unfortunately, the trend is to simply put the diameter. Stabilizers come in a variety of materials Tanabe Racing Development USA Tanabe Racing Development, USA - Welcome to our Homepage The premier exhaust, chassis and suspension tuner! Now for EP3! i got this off of ephatch i found it very intresting make's sense, this is straight from a tanabe rep, so full credit to tanabe for sharing this great info on ephatch, hope this helps. |

drivers preferance i think on wether or not big or small i had a really good driver tear my car up to the point that my front rotors were glowing red, bright red and the only thing he said when he got out of my car was more brake and bigger sways all the way around and this guy could drive all he does is race cars and build them as well
