eibach makes front sway bars... they make the full kit. if you wish to have front and rear, buy the eibach kit. front sway bar doesnt really help much as ours are something like 24mm+ in size. and that is huge..

Anti-roll bars, in doing thier jobs of resisting body roll, they also increase the load on the outside tire. which, given the way tires make traction, means that there is a Net reduction in the total amount of traction that end of the car can make (the end with the stiffer anti-roll bar). So... in some cases, it may be advantagious to reduce the effectiveness of an antiroll bar. Such as on the front of a FWD car.

Smaller would be the way to go...

. Thats what we are discussing about. Yet people are still clicking No Thanks without proof reading, kind of a nuisance

Did you buy yours from an LX owner or did you order it from a Honda part dealer? Im very interested in getting the bar. My set up is similar only with HFP and more neg. camber, and if you say the hollow LX bar makes the difference (which physically makes plenty of sense) then I'm sold

A thicker FSB is going to improve turn in but cause more understeer from the center off. Getting off a corner is where time is made or lost. I want to get a smaller FSB.

How does a thicker bar improve turn in? Not questioning it, i just wanna know how that works

By resisting weight transfer. It loads the outside tire quicker so you don't have to wait as long for the body to roll over, push down on the tire, and create the amount of friction needed to get the car pointing in a different direction. The down side of this increase in initial friction (traction) is there is less friction to help accelerate the car coming out of the corner. So you wanna gain a 10th going into the corner or 5 10ths coming out? Your call.

I would be in for a thinner sway bar. I can't see what would be more beneficial than just swapping our thick front sway bar with one from a DX. This would most likely be more cost efficient and they are already made, no waiting.

Thats true, but you got to wait for the order to go through, and if youre doing payment through a Honda website who knows how long that would take to get to your door. Plus, maybe have them send you the wrong one, etc. Possibilitys are endless. Thats why BE should just make us a thinner aftermarket one for the SI. Why not? . Id have a BE front and rear swaybar, maybe get some promotional goodies?

probably under $50 from a honda part dealer. Stealership on the other hand probably $150.

I'm not sure everyone understands the difference a thinner or hollow sway bar will make to their car. This poll doesnt really state whether there's a demand for a thicker or thinner sway bar either.

Also, I think HighRev1 is thinking about making a thinner one too. Good to see some options :)
