I just find it weird that they said to Mugen kid that they were solving the problem or had solved the problem.....but still another user here ended up with something that didnt fit.

What are they doing? Sending another set, discounting the set you have? I want to know the plan before I order these things.

I think "solving" means to make other new parts that fit to our car.

it's good to be serious and prudent... but
since BE said they are working on problem solving, so let's be patient.

at first time I saw the parts, qualitywise, it's kind of over priced.. I thought.
but I got to see..

unfortunately, there are only few parts we can choose from..
that's the real problem!!!!!
why doesn't this car have lots of parts like others...
I still can't understand why Honda made 4 versions of 8th gen civic.

I just hope there are NOT many things to work on.. next time when I try to install.

Seeing as it has been 1 month since Mugenkid posted up that his skirts fitted poorly I would figure that BE would give us some kind of update to what "they" are doing to rectify the problem and some sort of time frame.

As for there not being a lot of parts out. This car has only been out since 06. It really takes awhile for most companies to come out with parts. Think about the 92-95 civic. there are a ton of parts out now, but the car is like 15 years old. It just takes some time.

There are many parts out for our car now. Im pretty amazed whats out there.

The biggest things needed are a subtle nice aftermarket kit for the coupe and a standalone engine management. Hopefully the guy doing the big build on Honda-tech will get the Haltech running correctly. They have been using them on toyotas with DBW for years now.

I don't think about a month is not that long time to fix all problem,
maybe BE thought MugenKid was one that really unlucky.

I'm not trying to defend BE,
but why do I need to be mad at them since they are gonna solve the problem anyway..

so.. what I'm saying is let's be patient since they are trying something.

↑ not enough for me though..
bodykits I saw were all hard core or crap(wrong flows with body.. etc)
engine parts? I dunno...

other than springs, I think we can count any parts in five fingers.
(except for no name brand or ebays.)

anyways....
since I like these side skirts, the way they look, decided to get them,
paid money, even though I saw problem, BE is gonna fix the problem soon,

so!
I'm just waiting for BE to get my side skirt right.. nice and tight!

I understand about being patient and waiting for them to do something. It would be in good business for them to just give an update once in awhile. Come here and inform the most important people on what they have done or are doing, seeing as we are their customers and the money we spend actually pays them. Im sorry if thats blunt, but I dont think its to much to ask.

As for the kits....yes we need something nicer. Thats exactly what i said in my previous post.

Engine parts are plentiful. We can get a Shorty header, Race header, header with a Highflow cat, we have many catback exhaust options, intakes, a reflash, Turbo kits, s/c kits, full engine build kits, cams, many suspension options (like u said), engine dress up parts.....like I said though a nice subtle kit and a way to tune our cars are the two things we really need.

when i asked about fitment issues before i ordered. i was told that the problem was solved but that doesnt seem to be the case with people recently getting their skirts and not fitting right. seems like they are just telling us what we want to hear. i also still havent recieved my tracking number after almost a month. i was told time and time again i would get it the next day and still nothing. lets see when my skirts will come in and if the issue was really "solved."

See this is the crap im talking about. BE is in business because people buy their parts. We buy their parts, how hard would it be for them to take the 2 seconds to post up a sentence or two on what is being done to fix this problem?

Im not shelling out the $400 I been holding onto for these skirts until they come and say something about the quality.

x2, I've been dying to buy these damn side skirts to complete my lip kit, i come in here and making a joking comment that they're already using my pic of my car on their website, get no response at all.

Everything CNY has said has been on point, hence I have waited before ordering these side skirts... kind of disappointing, I could have ordered these already... but instead I'm waiting...

and all ANYONE here is looking for is an UPDATE

This happens in a lot of the BE threads. Remember people asking about a roof spoiler for the coupes since they have one for the sedans. It took them forever to say no. Then someone made a comment about BE just buying the parts and not actually making themselves.....they never responded.

IDK what to think but either way my $400 isnt going anywhere until I hear some good news about these skirts since everything else has been negative.

So BE comes in to save the day yet really gives no update to potential buyers. What a surprise.

From what I can see BE's manufacturer is redesigning the skirts so they fit better.....is that right BE....? Can we get a straight answer?

Im not trying to be a dick, but Id like to order these. I just want to know what the issue is before I shell out the money. It seems that there is a few of us in this predicament.

I think I can explain this though..

when BE tested fitment to some coupes before, there was no fitment issue.
as BE said, it fitted perfect.
as you can see, from the pics that BE posted before, couldn't see the problem which I had.(test fit for a blue coupe and BE coupe.)

fitment issue has not been a problem before, and also it should not be.
but while producing parts, there were a few made wrong, and it was unfortunately delivered to MugenKid and me.

as it fitted perfect before BE doesn't need to re-design these side skirts.
since MugenKid and I had same problem to install,
I think BE will order their suppier to make side skirts acurately(without any calculations or manufacture false).

whatever the reason is, I'm the one who got parts didn't fit now,
and BE said they are gonna solve this problem, and give me another set,
because it should fit exactly(like before when they tested),

so for now,
to wait these side skirts, and see how it fits is the best we can do.

I know choices(to buy them or not)is all your own but,
in my opinion, it is early days yet to ask refund or to be so critical about BE.

so...
as I said, let's be patient.

I'll find out the problem in this week,(if it's too late maybe next week.)
if it doesn't fit again, then BE will say someting, or post something here.
but if it fits like BE said before,
you guys can buy this stuff without a doubt.. right?

I'm gonna take a pic for sure, whether it fits or not,
because I want to share this problem with you guys and BE.
