BE-RS V-Bar Fittment Issues on US 4DR SI...

Ok, so it appears that the left side (passenger side) of the bracket that bolts to the radiator core support, touches the intake manifold on the top portion. The bracket could be bent' to work but, not without still touching the intake manifold...Is there any way you could reposition the left half HOLE of the bracket, and trim off some of the excess aluminum, so that it won't rub the IM? IF so, it'd work just fine!
See the pics i posted.

(and btw, it RUBS EVEN WORSE with the bracket flipped over, as i already tried that.)

BASICALLY, ITS BE-RS V-BAR IS A REPLICA OF THE CUSCO BRACE FOR THE NON-SI CIVIC.....SEE THIS THREAD.
CUSCO 3-points Front Strut Bar **56K NOT FRIENDLY**
HERE, THE BRACKET IS FLIPPED, BUT STILL CLEARS THE EXHAUST, THE SI, WON'T CLEAR IT AT ALL.

NOT UNLESS, BATTLE SENT ME THE WRONG BRACE...

How In The World Did Battle Get It To Fit On The K20 Acura Csx?????

Just Wondering, with the clearance issue on the intake manifold, unless the csx IM is different?

And yes, i tried it FLIPPED OVER, still rubs on the IM.

csx and si are 2 different IM but it doesnt really work on the csx either there's a tube that the bracket will rub against and cost the tube to break

so the only thing for si is the normal strut bar

im sure they told u that the v-type bar wont fit on K20 when u order the bar

That was my understanding about this strutbar. Otherwise I'd be all over it & if they made them in titanium. I miss my DC Ti strut bars that I had on my EP3.

You linked me the thread i've seen a hundred times, I need more than the 1 pic you have posted, seeing it without the plastic cover ontop of the mounting bracket...Its kind of misleading in that photo.

everybody knows that strut bar only fits the base models(R18 engine) not the Type S or Si (k20z3 engine)....
its the same design as the CUSCO one that i have... and when it was released it was stated that its only for R18 engines...
so i dont understand why you bought it if you have an Si?

I bought it because someone said that it fit the k20, and see in the pic above, it clearly APPEARS TO FIT, but in all actuality, does not.
