i m very interested in this product. and believe it should give the chassis support. but i have a safety concern:

this bar, beening located at that location. if an broad side accident were to happen. there is a chance that this bar will bend or crack and sending it or parts of it, straight to the passeger or drivers head!!

have this issues been address when making this bar??

thx....69

This product is retarded. People buying this product are retarded, especially if they have ever taken a geometry class. LOOK AT IT. It has pivot points at both ends because it is not machined to fit the car perfectly. PIECE OF CRAP accessory. As the car flexes, the bar pivots, therefore doing NOTHING to combat chassis flex. Might be useful to hang clothes on, though....

for everyone saying its going to hit the passengers, just take it out when driving around not hard. and if your going to be racing your car you want everything tight as possible, it will work. who ever buys it is serious about taking turns fast as possible not retarded, just people who dont see the giant bolts holding the bar in place so it dont flex are, carbing's strut tower bar is designed the same way, there not getting bothered about there product.

This thing is a total rip off ricer part. Honda uses some of the most powerful supercomputers in the world to design their monocoques. When you are talking about torsional rigidity you are talking about a twisting motion to the monocoque (imagine twisting an ice cube tray and you'll get the idea). A transversely mounted bar like that won't do a damn thing.

Front STB's are also a waste on this car. The strut tower mounts are maybe 8" from the firewall. That area is plenty strong already. Just look at the car that Honda won with at the 25 hours (yes 25 hours) of Thunderhill. Honda did not put a STB on it at all. All you are doing at best by adding parts like these is making your car heavier and SLOWER!
