People want/try to race me.

I was at a stoplight tonight, and some dumbass moron in an old ass beater ford taurus (1994)? wanted to race me. I was tired, and thought ill waste him but ill save the gas, and to top it all off cops were everywhere enforced. I have not seen so many cops in one night! So the moron pulls up next to me at the stoplight, and he sees the left turn lane light go green and he punches it LOL while the lane im in has a red light, he almost ran the red!I wish at that moment a cop was behind him.He is a Stupid dumbass. It did not even feel like a race. He just wanted to pass me, and get in another lane it felt/seemed like to me because he slowed down not too far ahead. So whenever people want to race me, or it feels like people want to race me what should i do? The kid in the taurus thought he was cool and shit. What a complete *** he is. He had his system blaring, and he was trying to be gangster?!?! and running a red light? or atleast trying to lol you should of seen it. He was about to take off like a bat outta hell. He will get shot up someday the fool. I would of wasted him, but my parents were in the car and cops where everywhere. I just got gas earlier, and didn't feel like wasting fuel on that fool/moron in the taurus his bucket pos.

might have been an SHO - and a majority of them were stick shift. Still - he was obvioulsy acting like an idiot - just ignore people like that.

they had decklid spoilers - rear bumpers had SHO in them - as well as the front doors. Front bumpers were different - like a lip kit with fogs on them. Different rims as well. Suspension etc was all upgraded from stock taurus cars.

That ford taurus i saw was definitely not a SHO,it was a nasty green color and had black steelies not rims,a total bucket pos taurus if anybody saw it. to be honest...i get tired of the lil acura boys riding my ass in their type shit. only reason im saying this is because a couple of punks pissed me off tonight. bout hitting me cutting in and out of traffic and "trying" to get me to race them....not saying everyone with a type s is like that but it just seems ever RSX that i come in contact with wants to brawl. anyone els have this problem or is it just me?

I drive a Sedan LX. So far I've had no problems. I used to run into that even in my explorer though. Stupid kids think their stock car with exhaust pipe are soooo fast. Please.

Usually when they do that I just turn up my stereo on full blast. Immature on my part, but it makes them shut up. Plus, my stereo system sounds 100 times better than the bees-in-a-can rattling noise they make.:rolleyes:

All the ricers hang out together in one of three parking lots. A few months back my friends and I were driving by in one's truck and they started making fun of it (ran-down chevy s-10). While we were in line at McDonald's they were just being idiots and yelling stupid stuff about his truck being ugly. Completely pointless. As we were leaving there were a few with no-hoods revving them up. It didn't really bother us until after the fact. So, after we had time to think up a plan, we go to our houses and grab weedeaters. We go back to the parking lot and pull up and jump out of the truck bed. Then we cranked up the weedeaters and gave 'em some gas. The ricers looked pissed, but a few other guys there were cracking up.

see this all the time around here. some kid in a lighlty modded EP3 is practically stalking me. Everytime I see him he's eyeballing with this weird look on his face - i can't tell if it's props, gayness, or hatery. anyways, I finally get behind him on an exit ramp stop light and he sees me. he's pointing to the ramp. I'm like 'no shit, i'm in the turn lane with you'. so I go, my wife is like "don't race. ok i'm closing my eyes'. so off i go, holding 2nd high, about 3 car lenghts. As we get on the highway, I punch it and fly right past him. I don't even know if he was trying but i went past him sorta like he was standing still. Then I see a bad looking (bad, meaning half-ass) late 90's EX or LX coupe. He's got one of those chrome inserts in his back bumper, holes cut into it. henious looking. We go past him together. The EP3 is on my ass. And somehow the black ugly coupe wedges between the two of us. I felt like screaming at the kid "it ain't a f'ing parade kid, back the f up."

the kid in the EP3 might actually be ok. I can't tell. but the kid in the black civic, who I don't think was friends with the one in the EP3, drove like a jerk. You don't tailgate me to race. That's just dumb.

i think there's a lot of animosity against japanese sport compacts, period. I can see why. There are enthusiasts in our crowd. And then there's this ridiculous subsection of a group that doesn't know when to say when. they overmod their cars with really loud exhausts and cheap ass parts. their cars look like shit. they sound like shit. their drivers drive like shit. I have this one jerk who whips around my neighborhood in a late 90's eclipse, with a grapefruit launcher, LOUD ebay looking muffler. this guy's probably in his mid 20's and still thinks it's ok to wide-open throttle his NA slow ass car up and down my streets. if I were a shortsighted redneck who had to witness that like I do everyday, I'd probably stare daggers at every civic, RSX, and teg I saw. unfortunately we're all lumped together. just read the comments posted on Streetfire beneath all the SCC videos. It's like a nasty race war, except its domestics vs imports. Some of the BS each side says is just flat out retarded.

The best thing to do is just ignore them. You're no better than the ignorants who initiate the races if you agree to race yourself.

Take it to the track. You don't need to put innocent people's lives in jeopardy for something as stupid as street racing.

yeah, theres two around here where i work that always want to go, one's a blue type-s and the other is orange with a type r wing. i actually ran into both of them at the same time yesterday in traffic. They both came up behind me in a line and were riding my ass while we were going 10mph about 20 cars deep into a red light. When it turned green, the orange one whipped out beside me and gunned it, only to be stopped by the car sitting there about 20 ft ahead. I really don't get it. I mean, in traffic? Please! I race every once in a while, but every time i see a type-s my heart starts to beat faster, and i get the race thought in my head, yet i usually don't act on it, and if i do i'm not a cock jock about it. I love rsx's don't get me wrong. Just some people are DONKEYS!

hilarious stories... here's one for ya.... i was at the mall with my girlfriend and some punks.... like 3 of them... were out in the middle of the parking lot with there cars... a 03 mitsubishi ecplipse, a old neon, and a old corolla with a nasty 4 in tailpipe and they were staring me and her down. Well we got in the car and they got in their cars and i took off, cut off the neon from the start, passed the corolla easy, and the mitsu backed off after her friends got smoked... oh right! 3 punks down a bunch to go....

When I drove around in an 02 Odyssey i had no problem smoking anyone. I mean a V6 240hp vehicle that is very light (when nothing is in it) is very hard for riced sh*t boxes (low end american cars) or most cars for that matter to believe. I had no problem driving around anyone with insane acceleration for a van....still, i was never so nuts as to do anything actually dangerous.


However, now that I own a car, all that has changed. In my civic I race no one, get passed by all on the highway at 100km/hr (though lately ive decided to start going 115 without sacrificing fuel economy). Anyways, some nut about a month ago decides he wants to show the world how little he cares about life, property, laws etc., and decides to race me (i wasn't racing *shrug*) by passing me on the left (i was in the left hand lane.. ie onto oncoming traffic) and speed up then stop and wait for me, slam on his brakes in front of me, just to do the same again. Finally he quit buggin me when he all but totalled his car on someone else's car.

He had a 6th gen civic? (not so good with those estimates) I guess he didn't want any 8th gen ruining his moronic day by driving?

This sounds like a normal night at the Lehigh Valley mall in Allentown, PA. Corollas and neons with fartcans are a plague out here.

Here's the thing though which i find really funny. I got rid of my modded car mainly because I was sick of everyone and their grandma thinking I wanted to race 24/7 trucks tailgating me/old ford tempos/ toyota paseos. So now that I bought my new car I decided I would keep it stock to not attract any attention to me cuz I hated it.

So what do I do when I get next to some kid with an eclipse with a body kit/rims/ exhaust etc etc. I start thinkin "i bet this kid will race me." There's just something about a modified car that makes people wanna race. I'm not sure why but there just is.
