With the proper setup, any car can be made to compete. xa/xd are actually a pretty good starting platform for autox considering the power to weight ratio. Why do you think alot of people want to do a k20 swap in a fit?

The blind Honda fanboyism never ends.. Guess what the car is easily putting down EM1 Si numbers and is waaay lighter with gobs more torque. What is so surprising that it can beat an Si? Best of 14.1 can easily beat an Si, especially with a bad launch. He clearly owned the Si out of the hole, so it's not that surprising.

Also, what is so hard to believe about tracking those cars? I don't care what you're in, a 2100 lb car is not going to be a slouch around a track if it's got a good amount of power.

Yeah, because i drive an SI im a toyo fanboy. I actually like all makes and models of cars. Your more concerned with everyone not owning an SI.

... and alot of people dont have 35k+ for those cars, or they would actually like to say there 13k dollar scion just beat an STI on an autoX course.

What a joke! The FA5 had very bad reaction time that is why he lost. It's so funny to see Scions boost and then try to compete with a 2.0 NA and still get spanked in a legit race...

I actually like all scions. Even the Xb. Its unique. For some people, its all about having fun. Whether you have a 17 sec car or 12 sec car, it doesn't matter as long as your happy on what your doing. Thats a true enthusiast. Learn how to appreciate each make and model cause they have there own thing going. If you don't like it, then just don't mind it. Plain and simple. You'll like some, you'll hate some. Thats just the nature of things. Like what Whocares05050 said, any car can be beaten any given Sunday. Its all about who's behind the wheel. Its sad the the SI was beaten but then again boosted VS N/A. Just like that old thread about that GTI owner saying that SI's are slow. They are comparing N/A vs Boosted. In the end, its all about having fun cause no matter what you do, some one out there is always gonna come up faster than you.

Who carss if he beats an Si on an 1/8th track. First off... 1/4 miles counts. Secondly ... That XA may win in a drag.. but the Si will out handle it on the twisties. Thats wear it counts!

This thread is full of fail.. I'm sorry but an xA did just beat the Si. And I'm guessing he would own your face in the twisties given he Auto X's. Who cares?

The only problem I have with the guy is he seems to have a big ego. He seems to have a personal vendetta against the new Si's. I'd give him props if he weren't such a douchebag promoting that his car is better than a new Si for 7K less. Granted he is a better driver than that Si driver in the xD video, but it doesn't mean the car is better.

Scion's aren't at all bad IMO. Cocky drivers like him are though. Granted I can give him props for running a 14.1 in his boosted xA because boosted tC's can't even seem to hit those times with the TRD charger on them.
