a 100 shot of nitrous should get you there fairly quickly. otherwise, an intake/header/exhaust + reflash & sticky tires combination should get you very, very close to your goal.
short of things like this, blowing the car is a great (albeit very expensive) way to break into the 13s. |

Atleast I/H/E sticky tires and also lighter wheels. Not to mention some driver skill.

I already did, I went and built one over on the honda site.. I think the front piece is all i would get though. So as far as first mods I was thinking cai, catback, and throttle body spacers. What do ya guys think? Ive been strictly a muscle car guys here w/ the rare evo site visit so any advice would be appreciated. Gas prices are getting to insane for v8's. Being in jersey I need to stay emmisons legal too. |

there are differences in each model year that are fairly significant. In 2007 Honda added a Traction Control System (TCS, but Honda calls it a Vehicle Stability Assist system (or VSA for short) as Shark Tek pointed out)) to the Si that will kill throttle power when it detects lack of traction. this feature can (thankfully) be turned on and off. In 2008 Honda added a Tire Pressure Monitoring System in addition to the TCS.

No.
People are also putting k24 bottom ends on the K20Z3 (SI motor) top end. I ddnt read a whole lot about it or see any numbers, but the torque increase is supposed to be very good. You will miss torque in an SI coming from muscle cars, but high reving is more fun to me |

if you're going to do something like that, you could always stroke the car.
if you want it to be 50 state legal, you could go for the Hi-flow cat and shorty header combination. although I think using ANYTHING except the stock cat actually might get you in trouble in cali... |
