That's called Gymkhana, it's a form of autocross, but it has that weird "parking" BS.

I'm not doubting his skills, but he was driving a Lotus 7 replica. Those cars are basically formula cars with "fenders" and feature more power than the original could ever ask for.

A lot of those tight maneuvers could be replicated by any decent autocrosser here in the U.S.

FYI: There are a few of those out there running around with the S2000 engine and trans! Imagine 240+hp only moving 1000lbs! :)

World Class Motorsports in Texas is one of the Lotus 7 kit builders that does the s2k motor
World Class Motorsports

The Hayabusa ones are awesome low CG with sequential gear box. Here is a link the the Caterham Super 7 with Hayabusa motor
Super 7 Cars Incorporated - Super 7 GSX 1300R Hayabusa

and the lotus 7 wikipedia page
Lotus Seven - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The great thing about these cars is you can buy them pre built or as a kit from hundreds of different manufactures with any motor you want.

My favorite seven replica The Donkervoort its made for large people.
