My 1/4 Mile Times 4/26 CA SPEEDWAY

Met up w/ AXIS and RWC this past Saturday and tried to get as many runs as possible. There were 5 groups!!! Minimum 95F to 99F and wind was bad, and towards us...

This was my very first time going down any 1/4 mile so needless to say, I'm still learning. I was able to drop -0.4 though, which was cool :)

All three times I ran against AXIS.

He dyno'd 176whp iirc and I got 186whp, same day at dyno day II, one week before. His mods are Helix TBS and rerouted stock intake thru fog light cut out

My best time was a 14.8@92. I'm #370, right lane.

INJEN CAI/p2R TBS/S2 70mm
17" DC5 wheels w/ TOYO PROXES FZ4. Last (best) run was at 22 psi, the other 2 where at 26psi.
1st run ????rpm launch
2nd run 3800ish launch
3rd run 4000rpm launch

Anyone got any suggestions for tires? Im thinking I rather buy tires for track use only and just up the psi in my current rears, then just swap them back when I go home.

some people bring their own tires and swap them. if you have street tires, there is really no point of going lower than 32psi. if you're looking for tires for drag strip only, well it depends if you want street radial, drag radial, etc.

hey man i was there i saw you run twice just wanted to say good runs! i had my si there but didnt run i was helping out in the supra area! with my boy but everytime i saw you run i stopped to go see whats going on so good job homie!!!

I was there with my almost stock 07FA5.. I saw you guys... I did 14.20@99.. and some 14.50's... My mods where 245/17 DR's, SSR RH, UD pullys, IMG, TSX TB. IPS K2 cams, drop in K&N, Churchs/Hondata tune, and HFP muffler with 2 1/4 cutom mid pipe.... 217WHP on a dynojet... It was hot and windy.. but still mad me happy to run a 1/4 mile track over Irwindales 1/8 mile...i was getting sick of 8.90-9.10's every thuresday..lol.. im Turbo now so get ready for some 12's.... KSE I ran into you in Reseda a while back at a stop light when I had the nasty comptech on my car...I was getting on to the 101.. silver FA5...
