Unhappy First time at the track! UTI vs. High School chanllenge!

I am student of UTI, PA. We had the race between UTI students and high school student around the area, 4/27/08 Maple Grove raceway. i didn't race any high school student though, i met a high school student with 08 Si coupe, he ran 14.84! Stock! one FA5 ran 15.4! i only did 2 pratice runs and 1 elimliation run! 5 bars of fuel, spare tire removed! My mod: HFP suspension kit (installed it the day be4 the race), Tanabe Cat-Back, Hondata IMG!
This is my frist time ever taking my 07 Si to the track, plus i never ran at the track before. my best was: 15.5, 91.55 MPH.
first race i wanted to race my friend's 03 Spec V.(E/I/H) he ran 15.7. but i ended up racing with Crossfire V6, 16.5, 86.82MPH. here is the video of it. first race i got : 15.6, 91.95MPH
MVI_2748.flv - Video - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
R/T- .965 (horrible reaction time, really nervous, launch at 3k, my launch sux) XD
60'- 2.575
1/8- 10.283
MPH- 72.47
1/4- 15.663
MPH- 91.95

Second run: finally had a chance to race my friend's Spec V. i F***** up my launch so bad! but i was still able to caught up a little at the end. he ran: 15.5, 91.49 MPH. i ran 15.9, 91.53.
MVI_2754.flv - Video - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

R/T- .579
60'- 2.684
1/8- 10.560
MPH- 71.86
1/4- 15.967
MPH- 91.53

third run: i got better R/T, little better launch. my friend's spec V ran 15.7. i ran with Chevy malibu, i ran 15.5, 91.55MPH. he ran 16.7, 82.61MPH.
MVI_2756.flv - Video - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
R/T- .339
60'- 2.416
1/8- 10.176
MPH- 72.04
1/4- 15.573
MPH- 91.55

believe it or not: UTI student with chevy Astro Van ran 11 something. his van was the fastest car at the track that day. BTW the my friend's red civic ran 18.the van ran 13 something on this video:
MVI_2752.flv - Video - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

So what you guys think, 15.5, 91.55MPH for first time especalily for someone who never run on the track? good or bad? any suggestion how to get better launch!
here is some pic:

Buy better tires

In all seriousness, the stock all seasons are garbage, just keep practicing though, and your times will get better.

Nice pics man! but UTI sucks. Teachers dont know shizzzzz. I think UTI works on brand new cars so you dont get the experience of working on cars thats been in winters year after year.

I know of 3 people who said the same thing. It was a waste of their time, etc. and you dont even get a degree.

got a 14.8 the first time at the track with my fa5. i actually graduated uti like a year ago. i honestly wish i never went. i have learned so much more by just workin in a shop. i think uti is for if you have absolutely no car knowledge at all, than i could see it being beneficial.

Yeah, my time card was as following:

Second Run:
R/T: .319
60': 2.310
330: 6.278
1/8: 9.714
MPH: 72.90
1000: 12.565
1/4: 14.90
MPH: 92.93

I believe I raced 2 Ford Mustang GT's. I beat one of them. A Jeep and then a Cobalt SS. The guy in the Cobalt was nice enough to come up to me after the race and thank me for a good race.
