I took my FA5 to Atlanta SCCA - Highly recommended!!!!
Saturday: Novice School. Highly recommended, as it covers all the things that you'll need to know to drive and work an event. We were broken up into three groups that rotated through a. Skid Oval, b. working a full course, and c. driving the full course. We got 6-7 runs with a veteran driver in the morning, and the one-on-one feedback was educational. Working the course can be just as helpful because you can watch other drivers either drive well... or make mistakes. In the afternoon we were able to get in 7-8 more runs if we volunteered to work the course for 45 minutes.
Sunday: Novice class at a points event. I arrived early to watch the 'real' classes run, then all the novices worked the course while the Pros ran... WOW. You can learn a lot by watching a pro driver! Then it was our turn to take 6 runs on the course with a pro driver in the passenger seat. I learned a lot from my pro, and consistently reduced my times. In the end I went as fast as a lightly modified FA5 that ran a regular class in the morning

I was running Stock except for Kumho Escta tires.
If you want to test your car and driving skill to their limits, go try an autocross!!! And remember to turn off the VSA - it's more fun that way.
