My first auto-x (pics) and a mod or 2

57 total competitors.

In car vid from different car/driver.

PAX TIMES

Raw times

Rental JDM He abused this thing, good thing its a rental.

This is what happens when the pivot cone area is wet and muddy, subies get sideways

Mi coche

Was the first person there, shortest drive out of everyone and its amazing how fast you get out of the house 20 minutes early when you are going somewhere you want to go, thought I was in the wrong place.
Got to help set up the course though which was good.

About an hour later.

Subaru was the most prevalent brand there.

Heavy M5

MMMMMmmmmm M3

Final run of the day was the event coordinator in his truck, if you didnt beat him you should go home they said over the intercom. I think he beat some people, not me though.

There are more pictures, but not really any worth posting up. It was a blast, cant wait for the 20th for the next one.

I will probably need new tires after a while though; stock all seasons FTL.

Mod list

Skunk 2 knob; I love it great feel and makes shifts seem much smoother. Love the small size and lower feel also.

I remember a DIY thread about a 007 garage door opener, hidden button and all. This way is much easier.

Other mods(not really mods but what ever)
-3ft x 1.5ft plastic box with velcro tape on the bottom in the trunk.
-ipod cable

Hope to get hfp suspension, tint, and rims and tires soon.

With the LX rims, did tech make you take off the hubcaps even though it's fastened down with the lug nuts? Also, did you experience any chunking or any failure in the rubber with the factory tires? My biggest fear is with the high profile sidewalls, I don't want to drive home with blown tires without having a second set of rims.

I didnt have to remove my hubcaps because they are bolted on.

Just did another event today, autocrossing is eating my tires! No failure or anything.

Didnt do so hot this time around. Got beat out by a mazda 3 with slicks, blktrx? in his GG lx sedan. Still a lot of fun though.
