Thats what happends to everyone on their first run....after the 2nd run you know how the car reacts to the track....after the 4th run you will know which lane you hook up the best........

P.s- I love to see other 8th gen members taking their cars to the 1/4 mile

the 15.005 was my first run... 2nd run i think i wouldve gotten high 14s if i hadnt left VSA on... it f-cked my launch

both other runs were in the left lane. i didnt like it....

i 'experimented' with powershifting merging onto the highway today. i feel like im breaking my car.... i also couldnt get it into second. i could only do it 2nd -> 3rd -> 4th

Yeah i dropped pressure in the tires on my second run and launched at lower rpm so thats why i got a 15 3 on the second run. I switched out the cai though cause if you see on my second run against him in the 60 ft he had no hesitation i did so it seemed like he was commin up real quick so i swapped it out try something new this time and adding the torque dampener tomorrow i really like this 1/4 mile stuff haha

Yes, you guys want to have the intake manifold as cold as possible.... This is what I do ...after a run I pop the hood(not fully open)....turn the car off, turn the ignition to Acc, turn the A/C...once you do this the A/C fan comes on and cools the manifold down...but becarefull not to discharge the battery..
