Wrx vs Si

Well my cousin just bought an 08 Wrx. I don't think it's an STI, but if we're both decent drivers who do you think would win? I only got an injen CAI in my FG2.

it all depends on the driver. just because someone has a more ideal awd set up does not mean they know how to drive it.

Wow, new WRX = garbage. I haven't driven the earlier ones but the body roll on this thing is unreal. The interior is very bland and it doesn't even feel that much faster if at all when the turbo kicks in. My friend and I got the dealer to give us an independent test drive with no salesman in the car. We tried AWD launches from the limiter and it still bogs off the line. The AWD system and the modibility are the only positives about this thing. UGLY AS CRAP!

EDIT: I've been the biggest fanboi since the bugeye came out, but I can't stand the 08's

Depends on mods. I've gone up against a stock WRX, an 04 model and beat it. Maybe it was the driver, but I'm not the best of drivers. But then again, I have all the bolt on parts you can get. AEM CAI, DCRH, Hondata reflash, Apexi WS2 exhaust, TBS, P2R img...so yea.

I was at a Subaru dealer 2 days ago, I thought the interior is better (but Honda/Acura/Audi are still better) than the previous gens. While the styling does not scream "IMPORT RALLY RACER!!!!", both my gf and I instantly developed a liking to it. We just couldn't agree what color....I wanted black (same with my FA5), she wanted red

EDIT: been reading at clubWRX yesterday, and boy every single non-08 wrx/sti owner hates the 08's. Damn.

There's a guy that had like a 14-15whp increase with just an intake. One of my friends said the wrx runs mid 14's and i see some people runnin mid 14 with just intake or just dcrh. Some people even claim to run 14.5-14.7 100 pct stock.

And with DCRH does anyone think it would be an even match?

unless its a drag race then it would depend on the driver. i've taken out rwd/awd cars with much more whp then my fg2 because they did not no how to drive as well as me. i've also had my ass handed to me by people in slower cars because they were exceptionally talented.

Lol it seems like it everywhere I look as well.. For once, I like the wagon more than the sedan. I saw a sedan on the road the other day and I'm like man wtf is Suzuki doing... Then I realized it was a new Impreza I like the Si in every way over the new WRX, except probably the powerplant, AWD, and exhaust note.
