If the 16.409 was an si I was getting worried. You could have done better but it was your first time! Had fun right?

no the 16.409 was a r18 lol.... he wanted to get his time on at 1/4 before he got his turbo

but i got the hang of it... i kept wheel hopping... =(
need better wheels... stock wheels just arent working for the drag...

all i had was the custom intake that X made
i also had 60 pound subs in the trunk....~.~
and rsx-s wheels with factory tires...

r18 was manual
lowered riding on 18" wheels
exhaust and cold air intake
short shifter

I was driving the R18, this was my first time to run the car in the 1/4 mile, things that did not help me where, the fact that i had more than half tank of gas left on the car and the SI only had like 1/4 tank left on him, am running regular gas to him running premium and also i have 18inch rims to his 17inch rims.. we both had the spare tire on the car..

I wll have had a video, but there was no one else with us to record us race..

If i do this am sure i can brake the 15's, take the spare off the car, lower the tire pressure on the front tires, to like 25psi, and race when i have less than 1/4 gas left, and powershift, am sure to see the 15's but i did not do all that this time..

And pojectprelude, all the tracks are different, just because you ran a 15.6 at your track does not means you will run a 15.6 on the track that i ran.

I feel i can do alot better than that, but i will have to wait and see, i don't think i will be racing the car N/A again, since next time i go to memphis it will be to get my turbo install, and then after that i will run it again and see what my times will be.. I hope next time we go we take someone else just to record the races..

One time i beat him, but it was a foul from my side, i pass the line before he did and he still had a better time than me, his time was 16 flat to my 16.4 but i pass the 1/4 mile mark first.. how much time do they add to your time when you foul? because i think that was my best run and it should had been something like 15.9.

What really help the Si run was turning off his VSA or whatever the SI's have, because that knock more than half a second for him(he turn if off on his last fun, the one with the slip posted), am sure with more practice he can be on the high 14's.

True, but my times still suck, because my 1/8 mile time was a 10.5 and i have ran a 10.2 on the 1/8 mile track before.. so am sure i could have done better if we had stay there.

We did not stay there because to run we had to wait like 1 hour, we race 3 times in 3 hours, there was alot of cars there.

there was a civic hathback with a vett engine on it running 12.3 in the 1/4 and also another civic hatchback with a k20 turbo also running low 12's.

The worst part was the track, was wet and greesy, that din't help eather..

We both had fun and thats what matter, and i will make sure to do things right with the turbo, like take the spare off, get my stock 16inch rims back on lol, and lower the tire pressure and also run 93 octane gas.. and maybe powershift.. but don't feel bad if i smoke you later, am sure your car with a turbo will walk me..
