glad to see that the r18 got off the line better, better 60ft is impressive. different track, better tires, and no subs prob would have given fa5 better times.also with the turbo i think civic pride should run a lightweight 16" rim.

Well i plan on running the stock rims that came with my car, the 16 inch, but am not sure how much they weight, but i think they shold do better than my 18's or what do you guys think? and what cheap tires do you guys recommend me to use on the 16inch rims?

Thanks for saving this time slip though. It'll be interesting to compare with the updated timeslip after you get the turbo installed.

Yea, but don't compare to this times, because i know i can hit the high 15's with this set up, if i powershift and had less gas on the car and also lower my tire pressure, but i din't.

And the R18 and SI are so close of the line is not even funny, everytime the SI will start pulling on his 3rd gear on me, but first and second it was almost dead even.

Agreed. The stock LX sedan with a manual can get a 16.1sec time in the quarter mile @87 or 89mph.

I ran 16.3sec with my LX coupe and I was short shifting it at 6300rpm since thats when our cars make max hp. I now know better and will rev it to redline.
-But I had 18" TE-37's, HFP suspension, oem Si axle-back and STOCK intake.
And when I ran 16.3 I had the oem Si 11.8" front brakes on my car! Each rotor is six pounds heavier! A lot more reciprocating mass there!

-Now I expect to run high 15sec with my Fujita CAI, Tein SS coilovers. Though I added weight with the bigger rear and front sway bars.

For your first time its not to bad. I was just at the tracks the other day. And when the cars had to do dial ins. Most of the 8th gens marked theres as 14.8, 14.7, 14.9 Around there. But none of them got close to it. Like 15.1, 15.7, 15.8. Our cars have potential to get up there but its just practice and good shifting and most important take off.

The firt 3 runs he had vsa on and he was doing 16.3 and 16.0 at his best with it on, and on the last run he turn it off and got a 15.4, but am sure he can do better, its all on the practice.

also u might see better 60ft times if you avoid the wet box, because if you aren't gonna stay in the box for a while to heat the tires, just go around it and launch from just past it to the start line. no water means better traction.
