R/T has no effect on your overall time.

Sorry but there wont be a difference. After the light turns green, you can sit for 3 days; time will start when you roll out the beam.

Is 1/4 ever raced side by side or by time only.. So R/T is never important?

R/T has no effect on your 1/4 time, but depending on how well your launch it does. Maybe people get confused between the two.

I can't wait till the track opens where I live. Gotta get new tires and a ingalls stuffy first. With hondata, fujita short ram, vibrant header, and tanabe cat back I already wheel hop like a who're on the street. I don't even wanna imagine how bad it would be at the track.
